My name is Jennifer Perrin, I am the daughter of Lindsay and Bruce Perrin who are the beneficiaries of the generous appeal on the forum. Unfortunately, neither I or Mum or Dad are able to post on the site so I would be grateful if you could please post the following on our behalf.
Thank you all for your kind thoughts and kind gestures. Words cannot express how much the support from each and every one of you means to us. We been through something that we would not wish on anyone, and the loss of so many of our beloved greyhounds has devastated us. We are so thankful for the five that remain.
The generosity and goodwill shown by the greyhound community is phenomenal. We are completely speechless, and cannot express our thanks for all of your support. The surviving dogs (hopefully - we are still a bit touch and go) felt threatened again when the surrounding fires looked like coming around again, and the smoke blew in. Thankfully, we are all ok and the dogs are doing as well as could be expected.
We got possibly the worst bit out of the way today - we dismantled what was left of the kennels. This was incredibly hard for all of us, and emphasised the horror of what our poor family went through. However, we get through it by cherishing the dogs remaining and doing what we can for them.
Thank you all once again. We will stay in contact and let you know how we fare. Lindsay, Bruce and Jenn Perrin.

Keep the donations rolling in!!!!

Its amazing how such a sad thing could happen to people who are doing the right thing like keeping their dogs as pets for then to enjoy their lives. I hope and pray karma will return in someway to make things easier for the family.. Maybe the wonderful offers of assistance may help to make the pain they are going thru that bit better to bear.
